The C64 is seeing a lot of love of on Kickstarter at the moment, here another new book is currently running until April 30th 2017. 


The book in brief

• Approx. 220 x 307 mm, hardback, 224 pages (or more if the stretch goals are met).

• In-depth interviews with Al Charpentier and Bob Yannes who created the C64, the VIC-II graphics chip and the SID sound chip.

• In-depth interviews with the people who created some of the fantastic games we remember so fondly, including one cover artist and one cracker sharing their stories. Read on to see who's in!

• The book will be edited by Terry Stickland, a skilled writer and professional proof-reader. Other book collaborators to include Vanja Utne (Mermaid/Genesis Project) and Mark Hardisty (author of A Gremlin in the Works).

• Professional photography of industry legends, people from the scene and C64-related events.

• Scans of Rob Hubbard's original music notes. Gain insight into how Rob used to compose his famous C64 tunes!

• Striking spreads featuring screenshots from games with commentary from the people who created them!
